Kelly Marsh reports from the door at 10:02. The protesters behind her arrived at 09:58 and had already eaten.
Good morning. I'm standing on the main road at Long Beach, Ko Lanta, about four metres from what residents here are calling the problem. It opened at 10:00. By 10:01 the protest outside it had gone in.
The deli sells cold cuts, cheese, wine and a jalapeño and cheese grilled sandwich that several people here would only discuss off the record. It sits on the island's one main road. Residents say every way home passes the door.
“I moved here to write a novel. I have written one sentence. It is my usual order.”

Local authorities have not declared an emergency. The World Snacking Organisation is due to brief reporters later this morning. FNN has learned the briefing room is catered.
We approached the owners, Frida and Martin, for comment. They were busy. There was a queue.
The protest is scheduled to continue until 19:00, which is also closing time. Back to you in the studio.
